At least 22 Chinese enterprises and others from Kenya participated in a job fair held at the University of Nairobi in the Kenyan capital on Thursday, providing more than 200 jobs for college students.
The two-day job fair was organized by the Confucius Institute domiciled at the University of Nairobi. The job fair featured engineering, architecture, law, media, design, tourism, translation, logistics and other areas. It attracted at least 1,000 students on the first day alone.
As China and Africa deepen cooperation and exchanges in economy, trade, infrastructure development, and culture, more and more Chinese enterprises prefer to open a business in Kenya.
