The Public Service Commission has invited applications for recruitment of 3000 interns in government ministries, departments and agencies.
The recruitment is part of the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) which is designed to offer opportunity for graduates to acquire and develop valuable technical and professional skills and work experience.
The latest recruitment is the fifth cohort under the PSIP for the 2022-2023 financial year.
The duration of the internship period is 12 months non renewable.
“The interns will be paid a stipend at a rate as determined by the Public Service Commission,” PSC chief executive officer Simon Rotich said in a statement on Tuesday.
Eligible applicants must be holders of a Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
They must have graduated not earlier than 2017 and must be proficient in computer skills.
The application deadline is August 9, 2022.
